jamie oliver would be so disappointed.
...
he really has changed the way i shop.
jamie, that is.
well, not entirely, seeing as i'm still buying captain crunch.
but the gibson table has seen a variety of fruits and vegetables we've never seen before.
cauliflower
carrots
eggplant
celery
mushrooms
spinach
peppers
broccoli
blueberries
blackberries
oranges
bananas
apples
onions
lettuce
tomatoes
avocados
ok, now it just sounds like i'm bragging.
i kind of am.
i'm proud of my fresh foods!
it's safe to say most of our monthly budget goes to fresh fruits and vegetables.
i used to think only broccoli and green beans existed as dinner vegetables.
it's amazing!
and i love it.
oh good, he just threw his bowl of captain crunch on the floor.
feeling really glad i didn't put the milk in it like he wanted.
go me:-)
maybe this will be the motivation i need to sweep for the first time this month.
nah.
he's eating them off of the floor for me now.
how does THAT fit into the food revolution?!
hahahahahahaha.

Yet another incentive to keep your floor clean...
;)
Oh, I love Crunch Berries so much that I'd eat them off your floor too. :-) They are my fav!! In fact I eat them so much that sometimes I get little canker sores in my mouth. But, it's worth it for a bowl (or 3) of the yummy stuff.
What are these, Vegetables? you call them?
I have heard of crunch berries and yes they totally count as a fruit.
Ah, the fresh fruits and veggies. Divinity when prepared right. Go you! You should be proud!
I love Jamie Oliver! Go you for changing that.. we have been lucky to have kids that generally like to eat all kinds of different things and have a broad base for food (for Cohen's 4th birthday he could have anything he wanted for dinner, and he wanted chinese food, I was picking it up and explaining it was for my 4y.o. birthday they gave me the weirdest look).. but eating fresh and local is something we haven't been good at but have been trying to do lately also!
