Hehehe! He's learning early, isn't he? I wish I had some advice for you, but mine hasn't gotten to that stage yet. I am hoping he just decides to by pass it all together. Good luck!
Well at least he isn't eating it.. or is he? :) Sometimes things like this, the more you draw attention to it the more they will do it.. So good luck :)
Hahahahaha! Umm... when you figure out how to make him stop, let me know. I've been fighting this one for a couple months. I tell her Yucky and pull her finger out, but back in it goes. I think she puts it in there just because I tell her not to. It's great to be the mom walking around the store with the kid with the finger stuck up the nose. We get some interesting looks. Good luck!
Wipe his nose every time he picks it...This has two benefits. One, it helps take care of whatever is bothering/itching him. Two, it becomes a sort of negative conditioning. They hate having their noses wiped, so they quit picking their noses because they know that doing so will bring out the kleenex.
Just be glad it is just his finger up there! My third had a serious obsession with sticking "THINGS" up there...my pediatritian didn't even make us set appts after a while...UGH...I have a bunch of those tiny ziplock baggies with his age on the front, and the "non-perishable items" I couln't verywell save a pea or corn...for obvious reasons...but we still have a collection! Good luck with the finger-pickin fun!!

At least it's his finger and he isn't sticking foreign objects in orifices yet... THAT is super exciting

That is classic!
Sophie does this all the time and thinks it is hilarious. The more I say no, no-the more she does it with a smile. :)
I love it!!
Admit it...you secretly do it. I've got witnesses I can pull out of the closet. Joshin...kinda...
That finner looks like he's diggin' to his brainer! Eeek!
