pb & sugar OR green eggs & ham

you'll either love it or hate it,
but it's kind of like green eggs and ham.
just try it!
you might like it!
HOW TO:
slice of bread.
peanut butter atop.
sprinkle layer of sugar to your liking.
glass of milk nearby.
vwallah.
i learned it from ms. stacie hansen.
my 1st grade bestie.
such a glorious after school snack.
or during "super market sweep" or "price is right" when we were off track.
one of the two.
i also used to sneak 2 or 3 creamies from the garage freezer in the hopes that mama hansen wouldn't notice.
there were lots of kids!
how could they narrow the thieving down to just me!?;-)
don't worry, i've since confessed, and mama hansen still loves me just the same.
oh, those were the days.
i believe we also used to watch lamb chop's play land.
"this is the song that never ends, yes it goes on and on my friends, some people started singing it not knowing what it was, and then they started singing it forever just because, this is the song that never ends..."
you get the idea.
my apologies for those that actually know the tune.
it's gonna be a LONG night for you.
all of this has made me very hungry...

I loved Lamb Chop, and I loved annoying people with that song.

The pb&sugar snack sounds good. I'll have to try it when I'm craving something sweet.

Yes, thanks a lot. I do know that song and it has been long tucked away in a dark place in my mind and now it is back!

Ohhhh, I've missed you girl!

I happen to enjoy green eggs and ham, in a box or with a fox. As for pb & sugar...come on, it's pb & sugar...what's not to love!

Gush the cheeks for me. I've been missing that! :)

This is my daughter's favorite sandwich, peanut butter sugar. I love how the sugar crunches just a bit.

I guess you would have to like pb to like that sandwich. Oh well. I love your reminiscing. I loved Lambchop. And now I have the song stuck in my head. Thank you.

Haven't tried pb with sugar. I love pb and banana toast or pb and choc chips or raisins. We had breakfast at The Sin this weekend and had Elvis Pancakes--pancakes with pb, choc chips and banana in them. Rick but oh so yummy!!! He ate those as sandwiches I guess.
