the chili linsey brought over on wednesday {chase ate 3 bowls}

it's cold guys.
like i turned my furnace on this morning
when i got up to make brennan breakfast before school.
it smells like fall.
it feels like fall.
now all we need is october to mark our calendars to really get the harvest party started.
remember when i was complaining about not having any red tomatoes?
yeah, i don't have that problem anymore.
every four days=an entire colander full.
it's HEAVEN!!!
if only tomatoes could grow in the snow.
b/c yesterday was the first time since july
that i've looked up onto the wasatch mountains and seen it there.
snow,
not tomatoes.
a blanket of white laid down while we slept.
the one time of year i wish i lived in the mountains.
fall leaves and snow.
nothing beats it.
today, it's snowing even more.
sean even called me while i was giving the kids an afternoon bath
to tell me it was snowing.
snowing!
he said.
on 13th east!
13th east!
and i  said
"no!!!! we're never going to get our family pictures done now!"
and he said,
snowing!
on 13th east!
ok,
he didn't.
he really said,
let me know if they're on or off.
and then chase dumped an entire cup of water onto my legs and feet
outside of the tub, and i told him i had to go.
so for lunch,
we reheated up the chili linsey brought over on wednesday night.
julie's chili.
the one with brown sugar and olives.
that makes olives taste good.
b/c i don't like them in anything else.
ok, i like them on pizza.
i like to scoop my sour cream up with my fritos first.
i eat about half a bag of fritos scooping up sour cream before i even get to my chili.
then i usually eat three or four more after.
fritos.
make it.
eat it.
add more cumin and chili powder if you fancy.
whichever:)

Isn't the changing of the season so magical? This right now is honestly my favorite time of the year. And I secretly was excited when it was snowing on me today. Shhh, don't tell, though.
Your tomatoes are mouthwatering, and that chili looks perfect. I am going to have to make it soon.
