"did what in his cup?"

when you watch a movie over and over and over and over and over and over....
1. harv is NOT the world's "greatest agent." he's the world's crappiest agent. his client was in the piston cup and he wasn't even watching the race??? what's up with that?!
2. "he did what in his cup?" always makes me laugh.
3. are ramon and flo an "item?" they cruise together like they are, but i always feel like flo is a cougar and can't pair her with ramon. maybe he just likes his wine aged?
4. "i don't need a map. never need a map again. i have the gps." oh geese. i can hear my father now.
5. what does "htB," chick's sponsor, stand for?
6. why did lightening not tell the policeman he thought he was shooting at him and that was why he didn't pull over at first?
7. why didn't lightening go back the same way he came after he chased down a semi that was clearly NOT Mac?
8. why does lightening say "serpentine, serpentine, serpentine" when the policeman is chasing him? what does that mean? significance anyone?
9. the hummer car in the credits, "i've never been off road before!...man, i'm getting dirt in my rims!" it just doesn't get funnier than that.

10. why doesn't anyone pay for anything, yet everyone talks about what will happen if they don't have any customers and lightening talks about how he gets all of his tires for free?
...
what movie have you done this with while doing your dishes, making your dinners, and/or cleaning your house?

blake is a Yo Gabba Gabba addict. Heard of it? it's on nick jr. And the other day he showed me how much we let him watch it because he told me all of the characters weird names without any prompting when looking at a picture of them. i was shocked!

htB = Hostile Takeover Bank. That's his sponsor. We've done this with Cars, Harry Potter, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and The Little Mermaid...to name a few.

I'm ashamed to say that I've never seen "Cars." I know. Inexcusable in a grandma.

Serpentine is the way racecars keep their tires warm during a race while the caution flag is out, it is the back and forth motion.

That is the awesome thing about most of the Disney/Pixar movies, the more you watch them the more funny things you pick up.

I think Cars is the one we probably have done this the most with too.

Interesting, I have had some of those same thoughts myself. If you watch the deleted scenes, #3 is answered. They are the same age, and they are an "item." I always thought #8 was because he was driving in a zig zag (or serpentine) pattern... dodge the bullet type thing. Honestly, though, I am thoroughly tired of that movie. We have just moved on to Donald in Mathmagic Land, and the saddest part is I am learning about things I should have known when I was 7.

P.S. are you going to do book club? I was able to finish reading it... I just skipped the parts that were too hard for me to handle.

Loved this post. Colin's favorite movie at that age was Finding Nemo and I found myself asking similar questions. I think it has been years since I sat down and watched that one because I saw it probably every single day of my first trimester (pregnant with Gabe) because I would lay there on the couch while Colin watched it.
