Hang in, Em! The fact that the loin is so upset about it lets you know you are doing the right thing.
=)
It's funny how differently things feel when the child isn't your own. If I were you, I'd be doing the same thing! (so, way to go girl, even though it's tough).....
But see, I'm not you. So I look at that precious boy and think, please mama let him watch his show. His little world has been rocked with the introduction of a sweet baby girl into his life, and he's such a good boy....hahahaha, this is why I make the coolest aunt ever! But as a mother I have to say, nice work doing the good things even though it isn't easy.
Don't worry we will pick up the slack for you. I have gone from letting my Shorty watch 2 hours of tv A WEEK to about 3 hours a day. And that is okay, for now. Some times it is okay for them to watch tv and sometimes it isn't. Good luck with a sad Pork Loin!
We must be on the same page or something. I decided this very thing last week and have been implementing it. Keith, however, seems to be doing much better than Brennan. Good luck. Try building forts. That is what distracted KEith when I told him no. Forts and books.

Good luck! You can do it. I will happily sit back and let my kids watch TV for your kids :) hehe
