leave it to beaver

just remember,
there are NO stupid questions.
how do i fix this??
spray?
weed wacker?
edger?

i feel like i'm in leave it to beaver.
but in color.
i hope the neighbors haven't seen me in my underwear yet.
after living in a basement for 3 1/2 years,
i sometimes forget that people can see in my windows now.
especially at night.
oops.
it took 5-46 gallon bags of grass to call this baby of a yard mowed.
i did not mow it.
but it took 2 hours.
i am both proud and ashamed to say i had someone else mow it while the once was scout master was at work.
i've never been so glad i've paid someone to do something in my life.
well, maybe as glad as when i paid someone to give me an epidural.
that was pretty great too.
note: no baby was harmed in the mowing of the grass.

My husband would be spraying the weed killer, for sure.

Huge yard!

*Squeal* What a truly luscious yard! Good for you for making someone else mow it. And I say first try to pull the grass out, then spray some weed killer. But then again, I am no expert. Good luck.

looks like you need a Riding Lawnmower, haha. and for weeds, pull it and then spray with vinegar! or weed poison but with little kids and any pets in the neighborhood that could be dangerous... and vinegar works just as well!

just mulch your grass- then you don't have to deal with all the bags! basically it just sprays it back out but the yard still looks good. Just our little tip to save some time!

Spray vinegar...if you use another type of spray make sure you wear shoes and gloves!

Sheesh, 5 bags! That's how our yard is during the summer. It's awful! I don't think I could ever live without the riding lawn mower now.
so anyway,... when you going to invite us over to see the new digs?
