saint pat

"but where are their footprints??!!"
this is what brennan said to me when i walked downstairs this morning.
his eyes looking up and down for little leprechaun footprints.
then he listed off all of the places he had checked for them.
floor.
lights.
ceiling.
fridge.
counter.
table.
he could not figure out how they changed the milk without leaving their footprints behind.
b/c at preschool "they left footprints all over miss kim's fan and windows."
trying to steal her gold.
milk is like gold around here.
so i guess it's good they just changed the color.
and didn't steal it.
made the top 5 favorite moments of motherhood in my book.
i wish i had it all on tape.
...
famous corned beef and cabbage dinner with GiGi, Grandma Carol, and Uncle Ron.
corned beef never tasted sooooo good.
we all raved about GiGi's cooking,
and quizzed her on the exact way she did every piece.
cabbage,
carrots,
potatoes,
mom's green jello,
corned beef,
onions.
praising how juicy and moist it all tasted.
i'm sorry if you are not a meat eater.
for these pictures are mainly not for you.
YUM
YUM
YUM
during dinner max managed to dump half a bottle of salt onto her plate.
and while we were cleaning up the salt,
sending it out of her arm's reach,
she then continued to pour her sparkling cider on top of all of her food.
i swear,
you're cleaning up one of her messes and she's making another.
she wore her princess dress up shoes the entire day.
even to dinner at grandma's house.
and walked around smiling,
with her hands on her hips.
i think we're in trouble.
brennan told me he had a tummy ache from eating too much.
me too.
...
THE SPREAD
i wore green pants.
in case you were wondering.
HAPPY
HAPPY
ST. PAT'S!

Way to go MOM :) sounds like you had a lot of fun! I also had a little leprechaun running around my blogspot too. I think I had more fun than anyone :)

What a delicious spread! And I love when people make a big deal of the little holidays. Leprechauns make me smile. So does the hello dinner painting Max is working on!
