burning your retina
is there any truth to the "burn your retina" thing if you sit too close to the tv? or is it an, "if you make that face long enough it will stay that way" kind of a thing?
the scout master is concerned.
note: child did not move once during the taking of these photos.
I don't think the retina actually gets burned, but I still made my kids keep a reasonable distance from the TV. One, who knows what waves are emanating from it, and two, it might fall on them!
I am pretty sure it is a "your face is going to stay like that forever" kind of saying. I just don't like having Keith that close. I worry about the kink in the neck that seems inevitable.

Lol! He obviously likes Cars :)
I make my kids stay back as I just don't want them touching the screen.
I love it :) Brennan is so cute :) Sam likes to walk around and watch cars and likes to bounce when he hears any type of music on the TV :)
Usually it's something like the sun or a laser pointed at your eye that is burning the retina- not the good old tube.
