yesterday brooke and i took the kids to the zoo.
for 4 hours.
the last 2 1/2 hours we spent sitting on the benches at the zoo park.
while the kids played on the teeter totter.
baby jack ate lots of bark.
max fell in lots of bark.
and we freckled our faces in the sun.
i went to bed with the beginnings of a tan.
50 degrees.
no coats.
and at one point the boys even took their shoes and socks off.
i could have sat in that sun all day.
it was lovely

how fun. and...how lucky you have snow. We're in Provo and still waiting for it. It doesn't quite seem like winter when we're in the 60's. :)

Wow, crazy weather! And I'm so jealous...of the sun AND the snow. Rain, rain, go away!
That really is kinda perfect!
=)
how fun
We've been having crazy nice weather too!! I'm loving it! I think it's supposed to snow here too.
I love your pictures :)
My kids would call that Swinter, lol! Glad you could enough both seasons in a weekend.
Yes that is crazy weather. Love the snowball- too funny
Hahaha! Love the snowball. Love barefoot at the zoo park in January. Love the January Thaw that has been here ALL winter long (I count winter beginning the day before Thanksgiving until I see little flower buds popping up).
