 the pumpkin plants started flowering this week.

maybe last.

whichever.

{they only open themselves to bloom in the morning. smart.}

max told me the big leaves were chairs.

and then she sat on them.

and looked up at me all confused like,
"why am i in the dirt?"

brennan used his hands to hop on them like frogs.

i've never been so excited to see bees buzzing around my yard.
