everything in slow motion

i have this dream where i can't open my eyes.
i try to peel them open, but end up walking around with my eyes closed, straining to see.
i also can never seem to walk.
everything is in slow motion.
i have to dig my toes into the ground and reach forward with my arms to propel myself forward.
i never seem to get very far.
i will lean my body forward with the arms "a going," just in time to slow down again.
kind of like the carts at IKEA.
we get the cart going straight and then off to the side we go.
i always end up twirling the cart around in a circle in an attempt to straighten us out.
i've even tried pushing it at a slant in the hopes that maybe a wheel is crooked.
i look around and see all of the other carts being pushed with ease.
it can't be that i get the same bad cart every time i go.
am i dreaming?

I hate that! I once had a cart that the wheels were so tight that it was SO hard to push! But I got a really good work out at least :)

At our Walmart they just replaced all the carts and it truly does make it so much easier when they are so smooth and roll so nicely.

You're not dreaming. I've had the same problem. Add to that the fact that every time I go to Ikea, every other person from the state is there too. Some one is bound to get hurt.

Oh my! I always get the cart that is challenged when I go to
Wal-Mart (note: the cart is challenged, not me)! Some poeple have all the luck:)

Pure and simple: All the carts are bad! It's true. Even the "good" ones are a little bit cockeyed.

I just have to avoid carts there or I will end up getting too much! Once I have filled my arms, time to go!

I am laughing so hard right now because I was just there yesterday. School just ended here so EVERYONE thought it would be a great idea to take their kids and drop them off in the play area (including me!). It was SO crowded, and though I once thought their carts were heavenly because the wheels turn so well, now I realize they turn TOO well - in ALL directions. My flip flops were not gripping the concrete floor at all, and I was just all sliding all over the place. It was even worse when one of my big boys decided to hang off the side and it would just lurch over that way. By the time we left, my arms ached from trying to control it.

I laughed when I read this. Ikea and I have a love/hate relationship. I love Ikea...but, only when I have time to browse. Otherwise...aaaaaahhhhhhhh!!!!! From the size, to the layout, to the carts - everything is difficult. Hence the reason I need a lot of time. Maybe I'm just not Ikea intelligent??
